Our very own club chairman, Warsaw Veteran European Cup 2026 silver medalist and Paris World Championships Veterans 2025 bronze medalist.
Starting Judo in 1966, Dave is a highly decorated judoka. He the technical author of 3 syllabus books and the Dan grade manager and Kata Judge for the BJA.
Mark is a coach and GB Veterans bronze medallist. He combines technical judo, kata expertise, and kettlebell conditioning to help players develop strong, resilient judo.

Jon returned to Judo in 2002 and started coaching juniors in 2010. He was presented with a BJA Community Coach award from Princess Anne in 2014 on behalf of the club.
Dan started Judo whilst serving in the military, taking bronze in the army novices within 3 months. Since leaving the forces, he continues to train and coaches junior and senior players.
After a competitive junior career throughout the 80s, Lawrence is a coach and referee, back in action and ready to go after a 10 year hiatus.
After competing at a national level as a junior, Phil returned to Judo aged 50 and earned his black belt within a year. He is a passionate coach focused on teaching competitive skills to juniors.
